2. System Introduction
The HZ-300 high-voltage cable loop resistance live detector is a cable grounding loop fault live detection and diagnosis positioning device independently developed by Beijing Huadian Zhicheng Electrical Equipment Co., Ltd. for cable defect faults. The system focuses on breakthroughs in key technologies for high-sensitivity live testing and positioning of high-voltage cable grounding faults; it achieves high-precision detection and precise positioning of milliohm (mΩ)-level resistances under conditions of large power frequency induced voltage and current interference; it can work quickly under external overvoltage or overcurrent to ensure the safety of the detection system, the tested cable and the detection personnel; it ensures the safety and reliability of high-voltage cable line operation, and fills the gap in the current technology for live detection and fault positioning of cable sheath system faults.
3. High-precision detection of cable metal sheath grounding loop resistance
Non-destructive live detection does not change the electrical connection mode of the grounding system. It can inject a stable DC excitation signal into the metal sheath in a live state and simultaneously extract the ABC three-phase test DC voltage and current components to achieve rapid detection of DC resistance.

4. High-precision cable sheath defect positioning
By injecting a broadband CT sweep signal between the high-voltage cable sheath and the cross-connected grounding loop and comparing the broadband impedance spectrum characteristics of the cable metal sheath loop, it is possible to quickly and accurately locate the defects of the high-voltage cable grounding loop under energized conditions, greatly improving the efficiency of high-voltage cable defect detection and positioning and the level of operation and maintenance.
